He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Harvey and Lucille Crosby Giltner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Weir Giltner; his sons, Greg Giltner of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Pierce Giltner (Heather White) of Bluffton, SC; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Perron (Gerald) of James Island, SC, Lauren Bradley (Jonathan) of Columbia, SC and Amanda Setty (Rohit) of McLean, VA; his grandchildren, Pearl, Vivian, Holden Giltner, Lily, Max Perron, Harris, Cate Bradley, Shalini and Gayatri Setty; and his siblings, Pamela Eaton and Sam Giltner. He is also survived by many nieces, cousins and friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wilderness Episcopal Church (1895 Greenville Hwy, Flat Rock, NC 28731). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hopewell Arp Church Cemetery (1341 Hopewell Church Rd, Blackstock, SC 29014).
