He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Perry Oniel and Betty Austin Crane; his brother Randy Gene Crane; his son Douglas Oniel Crane; and his brother-in-law David McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Barton Crane of Hendersonville; his son Adam Crane (Morgan) of Waynesville; his grandsons, Silas Crane and Perry Crane; his sister Rene McKinney; and his nieces and nephews, Katie McKinney and Little David McKinney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
Memorial donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731 in honor and memory of Ronnie.
