He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schermerhorn; his children, Heidi Wagner (Todd) and Scott Schermerhorn Jr. (Amy); his grandchildren, Caleb, Shelby, Jacob, Allie, Taylor and Olivia; his sisters, Linda Horne (Billy), Susan Hanson (Jim) and Priscilla Lyons; his cousin Rocky; and his great grandchildren, Blaire Knapp and Averee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
