He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Schamp Smyth; his children, John Smyth of Naples, Florida, Scott Scamehorn (Donna) of Winter Haven, Florida, Ryan Scamehorn (Megan) of Inman and Ashley Bykowski (Brandon) of South Carolina; and his sister Ellane Smyth of Flat Rock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
