With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmas Hare of Fletcher, North Carolina, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2026 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delmas Hare to pay them a last tribute.
Though Delmas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Delmas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his sister Annette Ellenburg; and his children, Rebecca Lehman (Scott), David (Ann) and Clifford Hare. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, along with nieces, nephews and sisters in law.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Food Pantry at St. Johns Episcopal Church in his honor.
