Hattie Mills Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Hattie Mills (Fletcher, North Carolina) is shared. Hattie, born on April 7, 1940, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Scott Adell and Virginia Pertiller Adell; her husband Joe Louis Mills; and her siblings, Garfield Pertiller, Columbus Pertiller, Joe James Adell, Charles Adell, Horace Adell, Sr., Robert Adell, John Adell, Alice Pea and Arsonia Adell-McDowell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Mills Bolling (Anthony) and Mary Jo Mills; and her grandchildren, Aliza Bolling and Absalom Bolling.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (537 Concord Rd, Fletcher, NC 28732).
