She is survived by: her children, David Shepherd of Brevard, NC, Steven Shepherd (Susan) of Swannanoa, NC, Kelly Shepherd of Falls Church, VA and Kim Shepherd; her brothers, Billy Cole and Rusty Cole; and her pet Marley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
