She was predeceased by: her son Jonathan Douglas Hardy; and her sisters, Linda Buttram and Missy Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Dean Hardy; her son Rob (Tiffany); and her siblings, Ernie Stiles (Melinda), Loretta Craven (Gene), Angie Old (Keith) and Jackie Wilson (Rex). She is also survived by 20 nieces/nephews and numerous great nieces/nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fontana Community Church (20 Fontana Rd, Fontana Dam, NC 28733).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Fontana Community Church or a Charity of your choosing.
