She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Eugene Curtis and Iris Scruggs Curtis; and her sister Joyce. She is survived by: her children, Barry Lee Wright (Tracy) of Boiling Springs, NC and Susan Wright Johnson (Greg) of Ellenboro; her grandchildren, Garrett Lee Wright (Matte) of Oklahoma City, Summer Bright Smith (Blake) of Ellenboro, Lucas Johnson (Anna) of Ellenboro and Olivia Johnson of Ellenboro; her stepgrandchild Hunter Weaver (Ashleigh); and her great grandchildren, Ivie Smith, Laylyn Roberts, Cooper Smith and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Drury Dobbins Baptist Church (3603 Dobbins Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
