Alfred Freeman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred Freeman of Forest City, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred Freeman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Baxter Freeman and Duliette Norville Freeman; his brother David Freeman; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Freeman and Martha Freeman.

He is survived by: his wife Mae Ramsey Freeman; his sons, Rodney Alfred Freeman (Kendra) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Michael George Freeman (Lynn) of Simpsonville, SC; his siblings, Billy Freeman of Bostic, Russell Freeman (Lisa) of Bostic, Lewis Freeman of Forest City, Mary Kate Toney (Bill) of Bostic, Annette Lane (Russell) of Bostic and Lois Scruggs (Eddie) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Emily Freeman, Kacie Abila (Christian), Kellie Freeman, Nathan Freeman and Charlie Freeman; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Freeman of Bostic and Ann Freeman of Spindale.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Adaville Baptist Church (805 Oakland Rd, Spindale, NC 28160). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
