She was predeceased by: her parents, G. W. Hardin and Mary Frances Walker Hardin; and her brother Stanley Hardin. She is survived by: her close friend Reid Melton of Forest City; her son Bruce Roberts (Tricia) of Stony Point, NC; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Davis (Riley), Zachary Roberts (Jillian), Nicolas Roberts, Jessica Roberts and Amanda Melton; and her stepson Charlie Melton (Laura).
