With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Phillips in Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James C. Phillips and Rita E. Groce Phillips; his wife Sue Ann White; his son Corby; his daughter-in-law Amber Phillips; his daughter Cassie; his son-in-law Bruce Laudermilk; his granddaughters, Olivia, Avery, Violet, Ivy, Peyton and Blakely; his half-sister Tonya Grether; and his niece Tammy Pinson. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project are welcome.
