She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Roper and Janie Barrett Johnson; her husband James Lawrence "Jake" Jones; her children, Gregg Jones and Rhonda Jones Burnett; and her stepfather Clevie Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Jones Melton (Alvin) of Spartanburg; her brothers, Charles Roper (Carol) of Rutherfordton and Mike Johnson (Christy) of Forest City; and her son-in-law Darrill Burnett of Rutherfordton.
