We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carolyn Cantrell Goode of Forest City, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bailey Cantrell and Margaret Routh Cantrell; her husband Harry Michael "Pete" Goode; her daughter Donna Goode Dyer; and her brother Bobby Cantrell.

She is survived by : her children, Pete Goode (Rebekah) of Catawba, VA and Debra Williams (Sam) of Forest City; and her sister Harriet Yelton (Don) of Hendersonville, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Post Office Box 336, Forest City, North Carolina 28043, or the Rutherford Church of Christ, 925 US 221, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
