With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles W. Smith of Forest City, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. "Bill" Smith and Dorris Walker Smith; his former wife Rebecca Cole Smith; and his brothers, Tom Smith and Terry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hunt Smith; his children, Jeff Herman-Smith of Matthews, NC and Lindsey Smith of Forest City; his brothers, Rick Smith (Ann) of Mooresboro and Tim Smith (Becky) of Forest City; and his sister-in-law Debbie Smith of Forest City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
