She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Thornton and Ronell Towery Thornton; and her sister Donna. She is survived by: her husband Robert Fields (Bob); her children, Scott Fields (Stefanie) of Waxhaw and Leigh Terhardt of Forest City; her siblings, Stanley Thornton of Bostic and Brenda Furches of Clemmons; and her grandchildren, Kayla Terhardt, Chase Fields and Callie Fields.
