He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Daniel Glawson and Bertha Matheny Glawson; and his brother Charles Glawson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Splawn Glawson; and his children, Howard Daniel Glawson (Sandy) of Charlotte, George Scott Glawson (LaRae Varela) of Sunshine, Reverend Christopher Andrew Glawson (Neva) of Ellenboro and Elizabeth Ann Glawson Biggerstaff (Mark) of Forest City.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Padgett & King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (250 Hudlow Rd, Forest City, NC 28043). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery (250 Hudlow Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
