She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rucker and Virginia Biggerstaff Rucker; her husband Charles Hunt; her sons, Charles Hunt (Chuck) and John Hunt; and her brother Bill Biggerstaff.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. William Hunt (Kip), Becky H. Carson, Jimmy Hunt (Pandora), Bruce Hunt and Amy Huskey (Chris); and her grandchildren, Laura Chen, Amanda Whisnant, Thomas Carson, Seth Carson, Brian Hunt, Haley Miller, Jeff Hunt, Mary Hunt, Jessica Sisk and Daniel Huskey.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Padgett and King Chapel (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043).
