The memory of Helvi Luckadoo of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Kosenkranius and Georgine Tomberg Kosenkranius; her husband Bobby P. Luckadoo; her brother Hans Kosenkranius of Wilmington, Delaware; and her daughter-in-law Deb Luckadoo (Tim).
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Luckadoo (Loretta) of Forest City, Tim Luckadoo of Cary, NC, Bob Luckadoo (Bobbie) of Shelby, NC and Tommy Luckadoo (Mary) of Hickory, NC.; her siblings, George Kosen (Vicki) of Sequim and Milvi Gill of Castle Rock; her sister-in-law Irma Luttrell of Wilmington, Delaware.; her grandchildren, Lauren Beard (Brandon), Kate Overby (Joe), Maggie Luckadoo (Alex Setzer), Callie Lopez (Estuardo), Joshua Luckadoo, Annie Cannon (Coley), Sarah Kincaid (Josh) and Emma Corneliussen (Garrett); her great grandchild Helvi Lopez; and her stepgreat-grandson Matias Lopez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Forest City (211 W Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at the Cool Springs Cemetery (382 W Main St, Forest City, NC 28043).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Media Ministry of First Baptist Church of Forest City so that others can continue to benefit from this important ministry.
