He is survived by: his children, Sherry Curtis (Gary) of Green Creek, NC and Jason Higgins; his grandchildren, Autumn Curtis, Cj Curtis, Isaiah Hunt (Ema) and Bella Bridges; his brothers, Bobby Higgins (Gaye) and Wayne Higgins (Pat); and his sister-in-law Frances Walker of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
