She was predeceased by: her father John Augustus Sims; her husband George Maurice Owens; her sons, Maurice Anthony Owens (Andy) and John Alfred Owens (Johnny); her siblings, Floyd Sims and Mary Sims McAbee; and her son-in-law Perry D. Stephens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Faye Owens of Forest City and Tammy Lorraine Stephens of Forest City. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
