He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Keeter and Eloise Walker Keeter; his brother William Simmons; his grandson Terry Edwards; and his great grandchild Zola Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Keeter; his children, Chad Keeter of Rutherford County, Rick Edwards of Rutherfordton and Robin Hardin (Scottie) of Forest City; his sisters, Nancy Munn of Forest City, Debra Altman (Steve) of Lake City, SC and Dena Hardin of Lake City, SC; his friend Rhonda Simmons of Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Rachelle Swink (Steven), Justin Queen, Kourtney Kahn, Chandler Keeter, Taylor Hardin (Lauren), Timothy Hardin (Bailey) and Nicole Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Madison Fisher (Ashton), McKinleigh Hardin, Hendrix Hardin, Madelynn Hardin and Hadleigh Hardin.
