She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Wells and Jennie Sue Wells. She is survived by: her siblings, Felicia Oliver, Floyd Wells and Robert Wells; her siblings' children, Amy Hoyle (Norris), Emily Wells (Russell "Russ"), Renee Crawford (Calvin), Gina Boyd (Woody) and Daniel "Danny" Wells; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison Wilkie (Daniel), Jenny Sue Hoyle, Alea Boyd, Alex Boyd and Adam Boyd; her family, William "Bill" Oliver, Jack Oliver (Lauren), Melody Powell (Frank), Sarah Oliver and Will Oliver; and also, Carter, Emmie Kate, Waylon and Dixie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Walls Baptist Church, which has hosted countless family gatherings, or the Spartanburg Humane Society, to commemorate Jo's love for animals.
