We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2022, at the age of 81, John Wayne Towery of Forest City, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fay Towery and Eloise Christy Towery; his wife Mary Frances "Fran" Towery; and his brother Chris Towery. He is survived by: his children, John Glen Towery of Forest City, Rhonda Lynn McCraw (Mitchell) of Forest City and Gina Marie Tate of Rutherfordton; his brother Danny Towery (Dianna) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Brandon McCraw, Lindsey McCraw, Joshua Padgett and Johnathan Towery; and his great grandchildren, Mitchell and Huntley McCraw.
