She is survived by: her husband Jackie Higgins; her children, Jason Higgins and Sherry Curtis (Gary) of Green Creek, NC; her grandchildren, Autumn, Cj Curtis, Isaiah Hunt and Bella Bridges; and her sister Frances Walker of Rutherfordton.
