She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leslie Madley and Eva Mae Rowley Madley; her husband Bobo Scruggs, Sr.; and her daughter June Elizabeth "Susie" Henson. She is survived by: her son Bobo Scruggs, Jr. (Jackie); her son-in-law David Henson of Forest City; her grandchildren, Patrick Henson (Melanie), Shelley Turner (Jason) and Ashley Scruggs; her great grandchildren, Patrick McQueen and Savannah Scruggs; and her great great grandchild Gianna McQueen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 South Broadway Street, Forest City, North Carolina 28043.
