He is survived by: his friend Bryan "Hippie" Dorsey; his wife Rose Edwards; his mother Alice Dixon Dimsdale Pearson; his sister Teresa Dimsdale Dorsey; and his sibling's children, Jason Philbeck, Alisa Dorsey and Jessica Owens Brooks. He is also survived by five great nephews and three great nieces.
