He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harrill Cooper and Catherine McGinnis Cooper; his brother Mark Cooper; and his niece Lindsay Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Strickland Cooper; his children, Kyle Arland Cooper of Forest City, Kent Alexander Cooper of Raleigh and Kandace Cooper Critcher (Braxton) of Asheville; his siblings, Scott Cooper (Josh) and Pam Cooper Wilkins (Ted); and his sister-in-law Lisa Cooper of Rutherfordton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (821 Webb Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (821 Webb Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040).
