He is survived by: his father Jacob Schmersahl; his wife Robin Schmersahl; his children, Jacob Schmersahl (Kyla) and Amy Schmersahl; his granddaughter Addison Schmersahl; his brother Jerry (Linda); his father-in-law Donald R Rusk; his siblings-in-law, Don Rusk (Ann) and Joy Bennett (Don); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
