Loretta Fowler Dalton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Fowler Dalton of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fowler and Corrine Fowler; her husband William "Bill" Dalton; and her children, Shirley Dalton Tate and Wayne Dalton.

She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Dalton (Shelly) of Anchorage, AK, Scott Dalton (Myra) of Forest City, NC and Chad Dalton (Ashley) of Johns Island, SC; her sister Brenda Toney (Marvin); and her caregivers, Barbara Burgess, Paige Robbins and Dorlene Robbins. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and her special friends.
