She was predeceased by: her parent Ocie Pauline Davis; her husband David Cole; and her stepfather Grady Herman Bridges. She is survived by: her children, Richard Anthony Bright, Lisa Leverette (Wade, Jr.) of Caroleen, Leslie Hudson (Steven) of Bostic, Stacie Cole (Alan) of Forest City and Kelly Cole of Sandy Mush. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
