Martha Jean Elmore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Jean Elmore of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Norville and Beulah Kimbrell Norville; and her siblings, Shirley Norville, Alfred Norville and Sherrill "Doc" Norville.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Elmore; her daughters, Gina Elmore of Hillsborough and Jill Elmore Bailey (Scott); her granddaughter Hope Bailey of Forest City; and her sister Nancy Norville Harrill (David) of Rutherfordton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Padgett & King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery (397 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
