With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy Shehan (Forest City, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peggy left this world on November 19, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blanton and Norma Givens Blanton; and her husband Eugene Shehan. She is survived by: her son Chris Shehan (Ursula) of Simpsonville, SC; and her grandchildren, Karen Duncan (Mark) of Forest City, NC, Josh Duncan, Sarah Shehan, Anna Duncan and Jason Shehan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Forest City (341 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
