She was predeceased by: her husband James Flay Weathers; her parents, Robert Lewis Champion and Anna Allen Champion; her daughter Bonnie Champion Stroup Fraker; her stepchildren, John Weathers and Libby Weathers Harrill; her siblings, Max Champion, Esther Carothers, Eugenia Randall, Nellie Mason and Mary Brookshire; Charles Patrick Stroup.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Charles Patrick Stroup, Jr. (Judy) of Gaffney; her stepson Jim Weathers of Forest City; her grandchildren, John Stroup (Amanda), Meg Stroup and Paige Fraker; and her great grandchildren, William Stroup and Anna Stroup. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
