He is survived by: his wife Alicia Burnette; his daughter Angel Whiteside (Brandon); his grandchildren, Aubrie Whiteside of Rutherfordton, Ruby of Rutherfordton, Lucas of Rutherfordton, Nora Whiteside of Rutherfordton and Clara Whiteside of Rutherfordton; his daughter Licia Turner (John) of Gallatin, TN; his granddaughter Haley Turner; his daughter Cindy Johnson of Maiden; his granddaughters, Brittany Smith and Heather Johnson; his brother Franklin Burnett (Judy); his niece Stephanie Holley; and his nephew Stephen Burnett.
