With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Melton of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Stanley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stanley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Stephen Melton Sr. and Ethel Annette Bolin Melton. He is survived by: his siblings, O. S. Melton Jr. (Rita), Sid Melton (Barbara), Brian Melton (Julie), Sandi Mathis (Mike) and Linda Canaday (Kelvin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
