It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hudgins Hemphill (Forest City, North Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hudgins and Ola Mae Cole Hudgins; her former husband Jim Hemphill; her daughter Donna Clement; and her brother Arthur Hudgins.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Simpson of Forest City; her grandchildren, Matt Clement (Michelle), Ty Clement (Brittany), Brooke Queen (Steven), Zach Simpson and Mary Kathryn Sneed (Jamey); her great grandchildren, Billy Mac Clement, James, Kennedy Clement, Gavin, Sydney and Asher Queen; her nephew Jim Hemphill (Darlene); and her son-in-law Jim Clement.
