He is survived by: his children, Lori Benfield (Michael) of Forest City and Wiley Daniel Thomas (Kellie) of Rutherfordton; his granddaughters, Lauren Benfield (Drew) and Emily Thomas; and his brothers, Carroll Thomas of Snow Hill, NC and Harold Thomas of Snow Hill, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
