He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie Ferris; his parents, Neil Ferris and Mavis Ferris; and his siblings, Lee Ferris and Barbara Ferris.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Ferris (Angela) of Gate City; his grandchild Thomas Ferris; his daughter Kelly Carpenter (KC); and his grandchild Courtney Burton of Supply, NC..
