With sadness, we share the passing of Rosa Lee Edwards of Fountain, North Carolina. Rosa, born on February 2, 1938, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Rosa for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Edwards and Rosa Worthington Edwards; her son Johnny Ray Edwards (Susan); and her siblings, Leroy Edwards, Erlene Edwards Horne and Lucile Edwards Horne.
She is survived by: her sister Ida Edwards Henry; and her children, Deloris Edwards, Charles Edwards, William Edwards (Alicia) and Carlton Edwards (Lahohya). She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren: thirty two great-grandchildren and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear community friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby Willoughby Funeral Home (5906 W Mill St, Fountain, NC 27829). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dilda's Chapel Church (596 Hamilton Rd, Fountain, NC 27829).
