Danny Joe Massengill Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Joe Massengill of Four Oaks, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Danny is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Danny's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Rufus Massengill and Madie Allen Massengill. He is survived by: his wife Violette Bardawil; his children, Danny Alan Massengill (Stephanie) and Amy Messer (Ricky); and his stepdaughters, Roberta Bardawil and Nicole Bardawil. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
