He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lisker Tart and Marjorie Stevens Tart. He is survived by: his caregiver Pam Bryan; his children, Stephen D. Tart II (Dani) of Goldsboro and Caroline T. Warmack (Kyle) of Goldsboro; his granddaughter Dorothy Ray Warmack; and his siblings, John L. Tart II (LaRue) of Goldsboro and Dianne T. Thornton (Kenneth) of Goldsboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews he loved.
