She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Barbour and Olivia "Beba" Barbour; her husband John Robert Boyd, Jr.; and her brother William "Bill" Clyde Barbour, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Johni Penny (Jody); her grandchildren, Livvi Bellamy, Harrison Penny and Todd Penny; her sibling's children, Krista Barbour (Daniel) and Jed Barbour (Allison); her brother-in-law David Boyd (Beverly); her aunt Evelyn Barbour; her sister-in-law Susan McCreary; and her friends, Ellen Boyd and Baker Street of Four Oaks, NC.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Selma Memorial Gardens (446 US-70, Selma, NC 27576).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials may be made to the First Baptist Four Oaks Preschool, PO Box 717, Four Oaks, NC 27524, or to the SECU Hospice House, PO Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577.
