He was predeceased by: his parents, Leandro Ponce Avila and Melania Pineda Vega. He is survived by: his wife Christine Ponce; his children, Joey Benavidez (Shandra), Frankie Benavidez (Fay) and Sylvia Raudales (Gary); and his siblings, Ana Cleto Ponce, Ma Ansuncion Ponce, Alberto Ponce, Ma Guadalupe Ponce, Martha Pineda, Raul Ponce, Ma Salud Ponce, Esperanza Ponce and Ma De Jesus Ponce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
