It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hudson Earp of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Earp and Robina Creech Earp; and his wife Alice Davis Earp. He is survived by: his children, James Gregory "Greg" Earp of Kenly, Joseph Michael Earp of Four Oaks, Wanda Earp Brown (James) of Elizabethtown and Diane Earp Wood of Benson; his grandchildren, Marshall Lynn Creech, Brandi Nicole Barfield, James Daniel Wood, Dwayne Michael Wood and Allison Michelle Henry; and his close friend Lisa Kim Prince. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
