She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Batchlor and Ethel Duke Batchlor; and her daughter Brenda Byrd. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Jones of Four Oaks, Susan Riley of Franklinton, Margaret Caudle of Raleigh and Bruce Driver of Raleigh; and her brother Bill Chancelor. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
