She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Pyles and Eva Pyles; her sons, Richard Dwight Pontious, Brad Lee Pontious and Kennie Mac Pontious; and her grandchild Casey Fuller.
She is survived by: her children, Garrett Evan Pontious (Crystal) and Debra Lynn Craig; her daughter-in-law Joy Pontious; and her siblings, Shelby Long, John Pyles and Dennis Pyles. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Selah Christian Church, 1332 Selah Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
