It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Pearl McGee Johnson of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton McGee and Floy Velma McGee; her husband Linwood Gray Johnson; and her siblings, Alice Cox, Eugene McGee, Robert McGee, Joyce Southerland, Merle Hodges, Brenda Taylor, James McGee and Derle McGee.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Medeiros of Charlottesville, VA and Phillip Lynn; her daughter-in-law Pauline Johnson of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Spencer Missbach, Nicholas Johnson and Coleton Missbach; and her brother Ken McGee (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
