It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxton Lee Dowdy (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Coolidge Dowdy. He is survived by: his brother Lynwood Dowdy (Elaine) of Fayetteville; his nephews, Taylor Dowdy and Samuel Dowdy; and his great-niece Aurora Dowdy. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
