It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Medlin Jr. of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Medlin, Sr. and Ora Gladys Bean Medlin; his sisters, Shirley Medlin Johnson and Geraldine Medlin Jernigan; his pet Burney; and his brother-in-law Sammy Jernigan.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Dianne Parker Medlin; his daughters, Ami Modlin (Jason) and Keri Medlin (Phil Heath); his granddaughters, Caroline, Ashleigh and Elisabeth Modlin; his brothers, Larry (Doris Ann) and Donald (Joanne); and his brother-in-law Raeford Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home, Inc. (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church (164 Barbours Chapel Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524).
