It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Medlin Jr. of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Medlin, Sr. and Ora Gladys Bean Medlin; his sisters, Shirley Medlin Johnson and Geraldine Medlin Jernigan; his pet Burney; and his brother-in-law Sammy Jernigan.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Dianne Parker Medlin; his daughters, Ami Modlin (Jason) and Keri Medlin (Phil Heath); his granddaughters, Caroline, Ashleigh and Elisabeth Modlin; his brothers, Larry (Doris Ann) and Donald (Joanne); and his brother-in-law Raeford Johnson.
